The limits of weight/size for the dispatched EMS: EMS items shall be admitted up to a maximum weight of 20 kilograms.
In addition, EMS items shall not normally exceed 1.05 meters for any one dimension or three meters for the sum of the length
and the greatest circumference measured in a direction other than length.

Articles prohibited as imports
In accordance with national legislation on the quality and security of foodstuffs, it is prohibited to import into Turkmenistan foodstuffs, products, materials and other articles in the followingcases:
– if the time left until the use-by date is less than 70% (calculated from the date of manufacture).
Inscriptions on the packaging and labels of foodstuffs concerning their date of manufacture, storage period and use-by date must comply with the universally accepted chronology;
– if foodstuffs are manufactured using genetically modified organisms (GMOs);
– if products or alcoholic beverages contain more than 18% ethyl alcohol (finished products, polystyrene, "Tetrapak" packaging).
If imported foodstuffs, products, materials and other articles do not comply with the published standards, to the accepted norms and to the regulations on quality and security, they may beseized, recycled or destroyed under Turkmen legislation.
